1. The beverage can industry is the primary market for US-based AMJ Industries, accounting for more than 60 percent of its sales. The company has the largest inventory of used two-piece beverage can manufacturing equipment in the world, says AMJ's Mark Lietz. rnAMJ recently completed the rebuild of an ASC upender, including the addition of an RT6 light tester and the overhaul and speed upgrade of six Irvin trimmers. AMJ is now completing the rebuild of a dual arm uncoiler and the reconditioning of a Rutherford CB series base coater for a leading Chinese beverage canmaker, and in December was contracted to fully rebuild three sheet feeding and scroll stacking lines for a major US consumer product company.
