As an addition to its range of modular handling systems, Dynamic Conveyor Corporation has launched the Powered Roller Conveyor, which is claimed to offer energy savings for can fillers. rnThe technology uses one motorised roller per module, and boasts an idle function that only powers rollers when required. As product is conveyed from one module to the next, the power dissipates and the next module is energized, enabling the product to continue moving without wasting energy, the company claims.
