Based on its experience in refurbishing seaming machines, Spain's Montajes Conserveros de Galicia (MCG) last year completed the development of the F-425 seamer (pictured) that aims to enhance the way in which seafood canners ran their operations. rnNow it is planning to raise the bar with an even faster machine, due to run at 400 cans per minute. rnFounded in 1994, the Vigo-based firm until last year specialised in overhauling seaming and filling equipment, and designing and manufacturing associated spare parts.
