Reduce gas costs with curing oven add-ons

Gas consumption in ovens can be reduced by more than half with the addition of two systems from German curing system specialist Billhoefer. rnAn oven equipped with the company's BilloTherm and BilloFlex systems will use less than 40 percent of the gas used by a standard oven, says the company. rnThe BilloTherm system is a thermal incinerator with integrated heat exchanger, which in combination with an additional fresh air heat exchanger and control software is said to provide optimum efficiency. The fresh air heat exchanger heats air from a temperature of around 80 deg C to approximately 350 deg C before it passes into the mixing chambers.
