Vacuum seaming for irregular cans

Spanish seaming equipment manufacturer MCG (Montajes Conserveros de Gali-cia) has launched a vacuum seamer for irregular-shaped cans. The VSF-110 - developed by MCG in conjunction with the Food Engineering Department of the Technical University of Cartagena - is designed specifically for non-round cans, allowing seaming under high vacuum (below 10-100 mbar), and in ultra clean or aseptic conditions. It allows fillers to can products using lower levels of water, brine or oil.
