Mivisa starts up plant in Hungary

Spanish canmaking company Mivisa has commissioned its new plant in Hungary. The 20,000 sq m facility at the Tatabany-Kb'rnye Industrial Park west of Budapest, makes tinplate food cans for local sweetcorn and pet food producers.The plant began operations in January and features three can-making lines with daily output of around one million cans per line. The plant is on a six hectare site, providing room for expansion.
