Vacuum seaming at high speeds

Talleres Ezquerra has installed a number of its Somme PE 2487 vacuum seamer at food can fillers in Spain and Central America. Launched last year, the seaming machine has since been installed at a fish canner and a vegetable canner in Peru, and at to two different meat canning companies in Spain, with a further two being installed at an olive canner in Spain and a fish canner in Venezuela. The machine is built in stainless steel and operates six seaming heads at speeds of up to 500 cans a minute, and is said to offer quick and straightforward size changeovers.
