Vicente Lozargo Jr, president and co-founder of Brazilian carmaker Cerv-iflan, says he always wanted to produce the country's best cans since he started in general line canmaking in 1978. This is why he invests in the latest technology, he explains, and in 1982 became a pioneer in Brazil supplying welded cans as opposed to lock-seamed general line containers for industrial products and paints. More recently, Cerviflan was the first in Brazil to offer aerosol cans with PET film-coated tops and bottoms, he adds.
