Key markets dent Heineken profits

Economic uncertainty and ongoing weak consumer sentiment across many key markets is expected to persist for the remainder of the year, said leading brewer Heineken as it announced its half-year financial results. The Dutch-based multinational said it did not expect a change to underlying trading conditions across most of its markets, although it benefited from better weather in July in western Europe and anticipates improved volumes in some developing markets.
