Cans the only choice for Wisconsin brewer

US craft brewer Stevens Point has launched a range of brews available only in cans. The brewery, based at Stevens Point in Wisconsin, has re-introduced its James Page range of beers and has made the brews available only in 12oz cans and on draft. Currently being distributed throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, the cans reflect the growing popularity of metal packaging in the craft beer market, says Julie Bir-renkott, marketing director for the JP's brand: "Cans are recyclable, unbreakable, lighter, chill faster and are often welcome where glass bottles are not."
