Inspection system manufacturer Prime Controls will operate its SD220 double shell and missing tab detector at Cannex, using a motorised, simulated conversion press to demonstrate how the system works.The SD220 is an upgraded version of the existing SD200, and is designed for use on two-piece high-speed easy-open end conversion lines. It features new components and offers quicker and easier setting alterations. Also on show will be the LH100 Light Head Sensor, a light tester for detecting holes smaller than ten microns in can ends, and the TestAlert, a tester control system which upgrades existing three-piece can leak testers with the latest technology.
