Start up for Finland's second bevcan plant

Rexam's first beverage canmaking plant in Finland was inaugurated at the end of January by chief executive Graham Chipchase and Lauri Ihalainen, Finland's Minister of Labour (pictured right).The plant at Mantsala in southern Finland represents an investment of ￡68 million ($107m) over three years. When a second production line is completed in 2014 it will have capacity to make up to 1.4 billion 33cl and 50cl aluminium cans a year.
