Manufacturing capacity for almost four billion beverage cans is being added this year by Rexam, with new plants, line additions and speed ups in Europe, South America, Egypt and the US, to meet growth in demand for both speciality and standard can sizes.As the leading beverage can supplier in Europe and South America, and the second largest in North America, and with a third of its sales in emerging markets, Rexam is also the leading beverage canmaker in three out of the four BRIC countries.
