1. Metal decorating expert John McHugh, who retired as sales director at Crabtree of Gateshead last year, has joined India-based used-equipment specialist Metaldec as a consultant based in the UK. 2. Al Carey, chief executive of PepsiCo's North America Beverages, has been promoted to chief executive of the whole PepsiCo business in the region, covering beverages, snacks and foods, and reporting to PepsiCo chief executive Indra Nooyi. Other changes include Kirk Tanner being promoted to chief operating officer for North America Beverages, and Vivek Sankaran promoted to chief operating officer for Frito-Lay North America. Tom Greco, chief executive of Frito-Lay North America, has left to pursue other interests.
