Nitro cans for cold-brew coffees

Ready-to-drink cold-brew coffee that pours with a frothy head has been launched by two UK-based producers - Minor Figures and Frank and Earnest - using packaging from canmaker Ardagh. It is the first application for Ardagh's Nitro Can which was launched last month at the opening of the London Coffee Festival, held at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. Usually served on tap, cold-brewed coffees are said to be less bitter and have better flavour than conventionally brewed versions.
