Solid start'for Crown in 2017

With four beverage can plant projects due to increase its capacity, Crown says that it is off to a "solid start" this year with net profits up 35 percent in the first quarter compared with the same period in 2016. Sales were up marginally by 0.4 percent at US$1.90 billion on the back of increased beverage, food and aerosol can volumes and the pass-through of higher material costs to customers.
