Coca-Cola commissions canning line in the UK

The largest soft drinks manufacturer in the UK, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), is enlarging manufacturing capacity in southeast London as it marks the company's 60th anniversary in the country. CCEP has approved a £28 million (US$38.7m) funding package for the Sidcup site to build a new high-speed canning line, which is forecast to produce 2,000 cans per minute when it opens in June next year.
