Robotic scrap baler joins empty can palletiser range

A robotic can scrap bale palletiser has recently been added to the range of empty can palletising equipment for aluminium and steel cans, both round and non-round, available from BW Integrated Systems. The palletiser replaces manual handling of heavy bales of scrap. The system can distinguish between decorated and bright can bales for stacking on separate pallets. It comes with integrated weight scales, strappers and pallet labelling, thereby creating an automated scrap room. Founded originally in 1971 as Goldco Industries, BW Integrated Systems -part of Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Company - has integrated robotic frame handling into its machines to accommodate wood, plastic, and steel top frames. Its line of palletisers is complete with automatic push button changeover for multiple pallet sizes.
