Soudronic buys Can Man to expand group

Leading manufacturer of equipment for producing three-piece welded cans, Soudronic, has acquired Can Man, which is also known for its machinery for the three-piece sector. Soudronic AG, based at Bergdietikon, said in a letter to customers that it had bought family-owned Can Man, which was described as a "very successful company". Can Man's recent acquisition Frei AG, which supplies powder-based weld repair systems, is also part of the deal. The terms of the sale were not disclosed. In statements issued by the companies, both Switzerland-based, each will be independent under the same corporate umbrella.
