A day in the life

Isaac Khan began his apprenticeship with Carnaud Metalbox Engineering (CMbE) in September 2016. He will soon be entering his final year and is hoping to stay with CMbE when his training comes to an end. He was part of the CMbE team of apprentices who won gold in the 2017 UK World Skills competition, securing their place in the final squad to represent the UK again in the forthcoming international finals in Kazan, Russia, in August. The company designs, develops and manufactures high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the production of beverage, food and aerosol cans.
