Jamestrong opens third new plant

A third new canmaking facility has been inaugurated in Australia and New Zealand by Jamestrong Packaging in as many years as demand growth for canned infant formula continues. The new production lines were officially opened during August, in Auckland, New Zealand, following an A$15 million (US$10.2m) investment by the canmaker, which is owned by China's Shanghai Yuanlong. The infant formula sector has an estimated value of A$32 billion ($21.7bn)ayear.
