Canmaker and chemicals supplier Showa Denko Group has set a medium-term target to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from its sites in Japan by 11 per cent by 2030 compared with 2013 levels. In addition, starting with data generated for the 2018 full year, the parent of Showa Aluminium Can Co will in future disclose the total amount of GHG emissions from its beverage can plants in Japan and abroad in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
