In little over four years The Hannah Barry Gallery's Bold Tendencies show - Peckham's outdoor sculpture exhibition atop a car park - has become a deserved feature of London's summer arts diary. Hyde Park has the Serpentine Pavilion, Peckham has its car park. Despite their relative youth (the first Serpentine Pavilion was built in 2000, Bold Tendencies began in 2007) both events puE in lots of visitors - with 294,910 visiting the Serpentine Pavilion last year and 45,000 heading to the top few floors of the disused multistorey car park off Rye Lane. At its opening party last Thursday more than 3,000 guests - art world cognoscenti, art school weirdos, sweaty partychasers and bepearled Sloanes - partied as the sun went down.
