High-rise in Accra

By demonstrating the possibility of building high-rise in an equatorial, earthquake-risk location, the soheme offers a new housing prototype for Ghana's emerging middle class. Four buildings, ranging from seven to 30 storeys, are positioned to capture a central leafy landscape, each distinguished by a boldly patterned skin and cantilevering upper floors. The scheme comprises 146 apartments, offices and retail accommodation, a gym, rooftop terrace and pools with a residents' bar atop the tallest of the towers.
