Bringing Kelvin Hall back to life

The Kelvin Hall, originally built in 1927 as an exhibition hall, reopened to the public last August after a three-year redevelopment led by PagePark Architects, transforming it into a multi-use sport, culture and education building. The refurbishment o f the two most western vaults along with new extensions have delivered an eight-court sports hall; gymnastics academy; gym; fitness studios; exhibition spaces; archives; and teaching and research facilities for Glasgow Life, the University of Glasgow and the National Library o f Scotland.
