A home rather than a gallery

Sandpipers is a timber-framed and larch-clad two-storey, four-bedroom family house with detached garage on a wooded scarpment in the Surrey hills. It replaced a bungalow built in the early 1960s, and was required to follow the footprint constraints o f its predecessor. Negotiations with Waverley Borough Council were protracted on grounds o f both design and development The house was completed in the summer o f 2016.
