In the autumn of 2015 I traveled to my home country of Germany to visit the latest work by audiovisual installation artist Carsten Nicolai, which according to the press release "reflects on communication processes in the industrial era, while at the same time addressing issues related to the socio-psychological aspects of the interaction between man and machine" (Nicolai 2015).
