摘要

The spinning limit is described as the finest yarn count with acceptable qualities such as evenness and strength. Since we need to to know about the parameters of the friction spinning system and their effects on the spinning limits, this work investigates the DREF-III spinning system. Different speeds of the spinning drum are tested at a cosntant delivery speed (150 m/min) using 100 polyester fibers. Spinning drum speed has a signficant influence on lowest elongation and higher tenacity. We also use three different core-wrap ratios to study their effects. The core-wrap ratio has a diect effect on yarn modulus, tenactity, and elongation.
