Transatlantic rowers wear shirts treated with antimicrobial dye

A team of eight international rowers wore sports shirts that kill 99% of the bacteria found in sweat, in their bid to become the fastest team to cross the Atlantic. US-based company Singlogen donated the shirts, which are made from 70% organic bamboo fabric, and use its antimicrobial dye technology that attacks the odour causing bacteria.
