German Textile Machinery Industry Continues to be Global Number One

The German textile machinery industry has been the undisputed global number one for more than 40 years, supplying machines, plants and accessories to the textile industry across the world. More than 130 top suppliers from the spinning, nonwoven, weaving, knitting, hosiery and finishing machine sectors are affiliated with VDMA Textile Machinery Association, forming one of the most important groups of the largest industry association in Europe. They represent around 90 per cent of the total German market volume.
