New and further developments in textile and clothing machinery were the focus, among other things, at ITMA 2007 which was held in Munich, Germany from 13 to 20 September. In addition, there will also be information about novelties in the comprehensive service offers of machinery manufacturers for visitors from fibre producers, textile and clothing companies. Tele-diagnosis is becoming increasingly more significant for modern textile machinery, for example, via the Internet. This makes it possible to find machinery problems rapidly, which enables repairs at lower costs. In addition, globally active textile machinery manufacturers are expanding their spare parts to customers and consequently prevent expensive machinery outages.
