A profile on Dyestuffs Manufacturers' Association of India (DMAI)

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers' Association of India (DMAI), established in 1950, is the oldest and the only Association in the colorants industry having members from all over the country, covering all sectors - from small scale units to multi-nationals operating in India. Government authorities have recognized DMAI as the apex body.representing Dyestuffs, Pigments, Optical Brighteners and Dye Intermediates manufacturers. The Association is constantly in dialogue with various ministries and government agencies to address issues concerning the industry.
