Mr Atul K. Bhagwati, Chairman, A.T.E. Enterprises Private Limited has been honoured with "The Life Time Achievement Award" for his immense contributions and services to the Indian textile industry for over 50 years. Textile India Progress Senior Editors, Mr Raju Chandran and Mr Viswanath Chandran and the entire management and staff of the publication congratulate Mr Atul K. Bhagwati on his receiving this well-deserved Award. A.T.E. has a come a long way since its inception. It was in 1954 that Mr Atul K. Bhagwati joined the then Associated Textile Engineers (A.T.E.), (soon after his graduation), founded by his Uncle Mr S.H. Bhagwati. Both of them worked together to bang European textile machinery technology to India, through representations of reputed textile machinery manufacturers.
