Carpetright plc is a major retailer of floor coverings in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. It has nearly 700 stores with an annual turnover of 650 m euros.rnIts journey with ETF started back in late 2006, when Carpetright plc decided to relocate its head office and consolidate all of its carpet cutting and distribution operations from four smaller locations to one brand new facility of 500,000 sq.ft. (45,000 m~2) at Purfleet in Essex. It was decided that it would not relocate its ageing HEL cutting machines but would purchase brand new ones.
