Textile India Progress takes pleasure in presenting in this issue an elaborate coverage of the 4th Asian Textile Conference held in Mumbai. Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, had undertaken the initiative to host the 4th Asian Textile Conference held in Mumbai on 17th and 18th September, 2009. Captains of Indian Textile and Clothing Industry and Senior Government officials deliberated at length on the strategies, to be formulated for overcoming the present crisis in India's Textile and Clothing Industry. Textile India Progress Senior Editors, Mr Raju Chandran and Mr Viswanath Chandran participated in the two-day interesting conference, which was extremely useful to the Industry and Government to understand each other.
