French Textile Machinery Industry has immense Potential for Enhancing its textile machinery exports to India

The US$ 1.4 billion French textile machinery industry, comprising nearly 30 manufacturing companies have immense potential for substantially increasing their textile machinery exports to India. The Indian textile industry size is estimated to expand significantly from the present US$ 50 billion. The textile sector accounts for around 4% of India's GDP, 14% of industrial production and over 13% of the country's total export earnings.
