Technology plays a major role when it comes to sustainable textile production. In the run-up to ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012 mid of June in Shanghai, the VDMA Textile Machinery Association will publish best practice examples from member companies themed "Sustainabiiity meets profit". As part of the VDMA sustainabiiity initiative Blue Competence, the first five stories from Groz-Beckert, Os-thoff-Senge, Trutzschler Spinning, Sedo Treepoint and Wumag Texroll will provide concrete examples of how to save raw material and energy.
