T-Mobile, Dish, Comcast, Largest Winners in FCC's Incentive Auction

T-Mobile US, Inc., Dish Network Corp., and Comcast Corp. were the biggest winners of the forward portion of the agency's incentive auction, which drew 50 winning participants that offered nearly $19.8 billion in gross bids. T-Mobile bid nearly $8 billion for 1,525 licenses in 414 partial economic areas (PEAs), Dish bid $6.2 billion for 486 licenses in 416 PEAs, and Comcast bid $1.72 billion for 73 licenses in 72 PEAs. AT&T, Inc., bid $910.2 million for 23 licenses in 18 PEAs. Verizon Wireless did not win any licenses. Sprint Corp. did not participate in the sale.
