Kaspersky Lab said it launched a pilot project aimed at providing anti-virus protection for smart phones. Called Kaspersky Mobile, the project combines on-demand scanning of the files system with real time monitoring of all incoming files and messages. Users can set schedules for complete or partial anti-virus scanning at set intervals, the company said. The company is working with Svyaznoy-Zagruzka, a Russian provider of mobile content services, which will provide tools for downloading and installing the software, the company said.
