CINGULAR SUES TELEMARKETERS

Cingular filed 3 suits in federal court in Atlanta to bar telemarketers from making unsolicited and illegal calls to Cingular customers, it said. The actions were filed against Sebell Telecommunications, American Broadcast Systems and Go2Prepaid, accused of using autodialing machines to send subscribers recorded messages. Cingular sought injunctions and damages in all cases.
