PYRAMID RESEARCH: NO WIRELESS MERGERS EXPECTED NEAR TERM

Pyramid Research said it predicted no U.S. wireless mergers in 2006. “T-Mobile and Alltel are here to stay,” the analyst firm said. Pyramid also predicted the world will pass the 2.5 billion wireless subscribers and the first seamless WLAN- cellular services will be offered in the 2nd half.
