Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., encouraged FCC Commissioners Michael Copps and Mignon nClyburn to support Chairman Julius Genachowski’s proposed net neutrality order at the ncommission's December meeting. Kerry said in a letter he’s worried that some neutrality nsupporters are making “the perfect” the enemy of “the good." He said, “Were I a member of nthe commission, I would support the chairman with some reservations, but I believe that given nwhat I know of the order, I would ultimately vote in favor." Kerry said he’s worried that nuncertainty over broadband regulation “will continue to overshadow the other things we can nand need to do in communications policy."
