Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., said he plans “no changes” in his bill to overhaul the Universal nService Fund, which he hopes can be reintroduced early next session after six years in the nmaking. With the election defeat of Rep. Rick Boucher, D-Va., Terry is looking for a new nDemocratic co-sponsor. It’s “open for discussion” whether a more senior Republican will nseek edits, he said. Terry said he hasn’t talked about it with any of the four Republicans nchasing the Commerce Committee chair, he said. Two support and two oppose the measure, nTerry said.
