Texas Offers Changed Plan for 700 MHz Public Safety Network

Texas filed a revised plan for its 700 MHz public safety wireless broadband network at the nFCC. The filing includes a map showing the 16 sites in its initial deployment in the Houston narea. The initial launch will also include a testing site in College Station and a mobile ncell-on-wheels site. The state hopes to wrap up the first round of interoperability testing next nsummer.
