Members of California's Public Utilities Commission said they could take action on the nT-Mobile sale beyond expressing conclusions of an inquiry, including to the FCC. State law nrequires the commission to decide whether action can be taken to reduce any harms to the npublic interest, communities served or employees from a deal such as this, and it allows the nbody to approve or disapprove the transaction, said Catherine Sandoval, the lead ncommissioner on the investigatiom.
