Commission Cramming Proposal Moves Ahead

Rules proposed by the FCC to help consumers prevent and detect unauthorized charges onntheir phone bills were published in the Federal Register. A further notice asks whethernadditional steps should be taken to prevent wireline cramming and whether rules should applynto wireless and VoIP services. Comments are due June 25, replies July 9.
