また,平成24年には告示が改定され,スチールハウスによる4階建が可能になったこと,混合構造が可能になったことなど,より広い範囲での利用が可能となっている.%Shear walls used in steel framed housing are designed as a cantilever column in conventional design; therefore, frame effects from hanging walls and/or waist height partitions are not considered. To reduce the force demand at the base connection, frame effect must be considered. Moreover, to utilize the half-size shear wall in practice, inclusion of frame effect is a must. To clarify the frame effect of light gauge shear wall, full-scale testing of half-size shear walls connected by hanging wall are conducted in this study. Time history response analyses are also conducted to figure out the ductility reduction factor. From this research, following results were found; 1) Contribution of the hanging wall to the horizontal stiffness was limited. 2) Reduction of force demand at the base connection were observed from frame specimen. To obtain the effect, detail design at the connection of hanging wall is required. 3) Response of the frame model showed a similar behavior obtained from conventional shear wall, and the advantage of frame effect at half-size shear wall was shown.
