ACY: Ultra-fine glass yarns

The glass fiber specialist AGY, Aiken, SC/USA, has developed ultra-fine glass yarns for printed board substrates. Designed to meet the growing needs for the electronics market where miniaturization and increased functionality are expanding exponentially, these yarns allow PCB suppliers to create thinner laminates for higher layer counts and greater circuit density. AGY has raised the price of its E-Glass yarns effective May 1, 2010.
