New air-jet weaving machine

The new air-jet weaving machine Omniplus-X by Picanol NV, leper/Belgium, which will be shown at the ITMA Asia + CITME, was developed and produced in Picanol's Suzhou/Chi-na plant, but using the proven Omniplus 800 technology. It responds to the requirements of the Chinese mid-end segment and comes in weaving widths of 190 and 220 cm. Its availability will be limited to the Chinese market for the time being. Picanol will in total display 6 high-tech weaving machines in Shanghai - 4 on its own booth, 1 Jacquard air-jet will be on display at the Staubli booth and one at the Bonas booth. Picanol offers 7 types of weaving machines: the OptiMax, GT-Max and GTXplus with rapier technology, the Omniplus 800, Omniplus 800 TC, Omnijet and now recently the Omniplus-X with air-jet insertion technology.
