Ziegler: Takeover of Quadrant

The Nonwoven producer J.H. Ziegler GmbH, Achem/Germany, has acquired 100% of the shares of Quadrant Natural Fiber Composites GmbH, a manufacturer of natural fiber non-wovens in Lambrecht/Germany. The company will be integrated into the Ziegler group under the new name of J.H. Ziegler Natural Nonwovens GmbH. Production and development of natural fiber products will continue at the Lambrecht factory. These products will be marketed by J.H. Ziegler GmbH in Achern. J.H. Ziegler is a medium-sized nonwovens manufacturer that supplies the automotive and general industrial sectors. The company has production sites in Achern and Babol-na/Hungary and achieved slightly increased sales of €21 million in 2009.
